Period poverty is the lack of the basics — pads, a place to wash, a way to dispose, and honest information. Where we work it keeps girls home from school and women home from work, month after month.

What we are doing

Every month we deliver a sanitary pack to about four hundred young women, with a short, respectful lesson on choosing the right size, using it well and disposing of it safely. Nobody is photographed. Nobody is asked to tell a story in exchange.

The packs reach Ghana, Thailand, Myanmar, Tanzania, Jamaica, India, Haiti and Egypt.
