Care that goes to the people

For years a converted 1997 Toyota van carried patients to clinics, for free. Then we listened to the patients: a day at the clinic is a day without pay, and the road there is not safe for everyone. So the clinic now goes to them.

How a week works

Four days, four communities, the same faces every week. The clinic sets up on the farm or at the factory gate, so nobody has to lose a shift, pass a checkpoint, or be left behind. What started as transportation has become a real weekly practice: check-ups, prenatal visits, wound care, medicine, referrals to the hospital when it matters.

  • Free, every week, on a schedule people can count on
  • Nobody misses a day of work to be seen
  • Menstrual health education and sanitary products for young women, so school and work continue
  • Hospital meals and transport when a case needs more than the van can give
